Inclusion of a link to a website on this page does not necessarily infer an advocation to the polices, ideals, philosophies, and/or warrant in any way the products of these companies. I have included the links here to allow visitors to my site an opportunity to investigate different products, techniques and uses of building materials and/or components which may be incorporated into a building. For instance, in south Louisiana I would refrain from build anything on a concrete slab on grade, I would not use EIFS panels in a hurricane zone, I would not use wood studs below I-10 and I-12..... etc......

Welcome to this site............ Offering an insight to a few things I have been doing over the last several decades.
I have included a few projects on this site for informational purposes only. For a more in depth look at these projects please visit the commercial website by clicking either of the images below...........
Although I have included a link to DBK Power Generators I suggest a different solution to the one presented on this website, i.e., Size the solar collector system to provide energy to the electrolyzer only... do not use the solar panel system to provide power to the building electrical system; provide sufficient storage of hydrogen to supply enough hydrogen to the fuel cell to carry the full load for a period of two days; let hydrogen be the sole supplier of energy to the electrical system as the amount of hydrogen required is load specific, in other words, you only use the amount of hydrogen required to satisfy the demand for energy; a small solar panel system can produce enough hydrogen in a short period of time to satisfy a prolonged demand. Also, it is good practice to have the voltage produced by the fuel cell equal to 480 volts. Use motors wired at 480 volt whenever possible, this reduces the amps required to operate the motor, thereby, reducing energy demand. Lights and applicances should be at 277 volts to reduce energy demand. Provide a step-down transformer for 120 volt requrements.
The Polyiso link includes a material which must be handled with care...., i.e.; the foil faced polyiso sheathing for walls. Be very careful in your selection of the finish material which is to be applied over the foil faced polyiso sheathing insulation. The ultra-violet rays will penetrate the finish material and reflect back through the finish material and can caused severe drying of the material which could be detrimental to the life expectancy of the material. Never use a foil faced insulation behind a wood finish material. If you insist on using the foil faced sheathing insulation use it only behind products which are not affected by UV rays, such as, masonry products.
